Academic Advising Overview for Liberal Arts Music (LAMUS.AA) Majors

The Academic Advising Center is continuing a new project which will allow students to receive an overview of the requirements of their declared major. In so doing, the Center hopes to utilize the electronic resources at its disposal to provide our students with another method of the best possible academic advising in as efficient a way as possible. This Electronic Advising Packet is for the Liberal Arts--Music (LAMUS.AA) Degree.

ENG 122--English Composition II (prerequisite of English Composition I with a grade of "C" or better)

Two semesters of a modern language

CSC 105--Computer Applications and Systems or CSC 106--Intermediate PC Applications with Programming (CSC 106 has a prerequisite of CSC 105 or CSC 107 and MAT 014)

MUS 131--Keyboard Studies I
MUS 132--Keyboard Studies II (prerequisite of MUS 131)
MUS 140--Music Fundamentals
MUS 201--Music Notation and Composition I (prerequisite of MUS 140 or a passing score on a music theory placement test)

MUS 202--Music Notation and Composition II (prerequisite of MUS 201)
